Fredericksburg (WFVA) -- Fredericksburg Police say three people chased down a purse snatcher in the parking lot of Walmart in Central Park on Thursday night. The suspect was being held down by the three men when police arrived. Police say as a woman was loading groceries into her car, the suspect reached into her basket and grabbed her purse. The victim began screaming. A woman who saw the theft called 9-1-1. Three men chased down the suspect. 18-year old Timothy Finney of King George is charged with grand larceny.
